                         Director : Paresh Mokashi

Many foreigners thinks Indian film industry is called as Bollywood. But it is entirely wrong.Hindi film industry is called as Bollywood(that too only by media,i don't think any of the actors like the name Bollywood). There is a huge difference between Bollywood and the real Indian film industry.Bollywood doesn't make 800-1000 to movies a year alone.India is a big country and fortunately or unfortunately, we have 22+ languages in this country and most of the states have their own film industry which speaks their language.Which all together produce more movies in a lesser budget with better content than Bollywood.

Harishchandrachi Factory  is a Marathi movie released in 2009 directed by Paresh Mokashi. The movie is the story of Dadasaheb Phalke who is the father of Indian cinema.Story is set in 1913.He travels to England and learns  the movie making technique. The society thinks he has gone crazy. His family supports him even when they struggle financially.

Some of the regional film industries in India are blessed with awesome actors who has natural talent and stage drama acting experience.Just like Bengali,Malayalam and Assamese,  Marathi film industry is one of them.Nandu Madhav who plays the role of Dadasaheb Phalke does justice to the role with his awesome acting.Vibhawari deshpande who portrays Mrs.Phalke also did good job. Altogether it's a must watch movie.
