Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) (English) (Mini Review)

                    Director : Guy Ritchie
                    Genre    : Mystery,Action, Thriller
Cast      :  Robert Downey Jr.Jude Law and Jared Harris

Another Master piece movie from Guy Ritchie, probably the best directed English movie of the year 2011.A beautifully crafted edge of the seat thriller, just like it's first part.Undoubtedly a 'director's movie'.
In this sequel Sherlock holmes and his companion Dr.Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their most dangerous and cunning enemy Professor Moriarty.Story happens mainly in London,Paris and Switzerland.
Sherlock Holmes book readers may not like Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of world's most famous detective, because it is completely different from what you read on  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novels. But this portrayal is just different, not bad or anything.Jude law plays Holmes' famous companion Dr.watson in the movie and he perfectly suits for the role as if he was born to play this role.Another plus point of the movie is it's awesome visuals using the amazing capabilities of CG technology. If you haven't watched the first part ,which was released in 2009(In some countries 2010) you better watch that first then the sequel. Not that it's continuous or anything but you'l get a style of this franchisee's story telling. So we suggest you run to your nearest movie hall to watch this flick.A must watch movie...

And the movie has some awesome posters we should say...

Black Hawk Down (2001) (English) (Mini Review)

                   Director :  Ridley Scott
                  Genre     :  Thriller,drama
Cast       :   Josh hartnett, Ewan McGregor,Eric Bana and Tom Sizemore

When you think about war movies the usual things which comes to your mind is brotherhood/friendship between soldiers, patriotism and all that stuff but, this movie here being one of the greatest military movie is different from all typical war movies ever made. We'll call this a war thriller rather than a war movie.
Movie depicts the 'battle of Mogadishu',and it's based on a book named 'Black Hawk Down '.Movie starts where american army plans for a raid to capture a Somalian war lord, but their plan goes for a toss when something unexpected happens.
The movie was shot in other places like Morocco because Somalia was not safe for a film crew and the production imported 100 Rangers, a dozen Humvees and 8 Black Hawk helicopters into Morocco for filming. This was considerably more firepower than anything else in the country and the Moroccan king was understandably uneasy about allowing such a large foreign military presence into his country. Ridley Scott joked that they could have taken over the country if they'd wanted to.
This is one of a kind and a must watch movie.
